2008 November > ODSO Opening Night

On October 3rd the Oshawa Durham Symphony Orchestra launched its 52nd season by celebrating its new partnership with UOIT and Durham College. The concert, featuring music from The Red Violin, was the ODSO’s first performance in its new venue, the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre at Durham College and UOIT. The evening included a welcome reception before the concert, which featured internationally acclaimed artist and Grammy Award nominee Philippe Quint, one of a select few honoured by the Stradivari Society to play the unique instrument, the Stradivarius.
