2008 November > CIBC Run for the Cure Each fall, thousands of brightly coloured, high spirited supporters congregate at Lakeview Park in Oshawa for the Durham leg of The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure. The largest single day, volunteer-led fundraiser in Canada, the 5k or 1k walk/run takes place in more than 50 Run sites across the country and supports the advancement of breast cancer research, education, diagnosis and treatment. Survivors, friends, family & pets unite in this massive cause, taking us one step closer to a cure.
