Last month Oshawa Harour was honoured to have a visit from the HMCS Charlottetown and her crew. The sail of the Great Lakes was a welcome chance for the ship’s company to showcase its accomplishments during its most recent deployment to the Middle East as well as giving the general public an opportunity to meet the Navy up close and personal. The public tours included displays of boarding party operations, military diving equipment, and a Sea King helicopter. Equipment used by the Army and Air Force such as wheeled and tracked vehicles and personal equipment were also on site for viewing.
