2008 November > Downtown Welcomes DC/UOIT Downtown Oshawa hosted their annual Durham College & UOIT Welcome Reception last month. The evening party, held at another new establishment, 19 on King, included merchants, members of the Downtown Board of Management and staff & student association members from Durham College and UOIT. The merchants of Downtown Oshawa also presented DC/UOIT with a bursary cheque for $2,000, and mentioned that this bursary has now grown to over $8,000 since 2005.
