2008 November > 35 Years for the Gift House

Back in 1973, Wilma Lovell, Marg Andrews & Celia Wilson opened a new unique store in Downtown Oshawa called The Gift House. Last month, Wilma, and her daughter Diana Kirk, who now oversees the family business, welcomed everyone to help them celebrate their 35th Anniversary. With cake and a special keepsake for everyone, the celebration was capped with a ceremonial ribbon cutting by Mayor John Gray. The Gift House is home to some great wonderful giftware, home accents and even Waterford Crystal, and you can visit them at 18 King Street East…and wish them a Happy 35th!
