Newcomers/Alumnae Spring Dinner
What could be better than a night out on the town with good food, good wine and great friends? The women on the Newcomers/Alumnae Club of Oshawa-Whitby couldn’t agree more, which is why they chose to hold their monthly meeting at the esteemed Fazio’s restaurant in the heart of downtown Oshawa to celebrate the coming of spring. The club is a non-profit social organization that aims to provide friendship and activities to women who are new to the area or simply pursuing a lifestyle change. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month, and include activities such as the lunch bunch, book club, movie nights, golf, morning coffee and stitch and chat. Membership also includes the distribution of a monthly newsletter to keep members informed on the happenings both within in the organization and the community at large. For more information on this unique program, please contact Diane, President of the Oshawa-Whitby club, at 905-430-7459.
