OSCC Volunteer Recognition

Staff and members of the Oshawa Senior Citizens Centres (OSCC) wish to congratulate and thank their senior volunteers who have dedicated much of their time and efforts in the creation of the annual OSCC parade floats. Twice a year, this dynamic group joins forces with Special Events and Recreation staff to create community floats featured in the Oshawa Santa Claus and Fiesta Week parades. Due to the hard work and creativity of these individuals, the OSCC float has also won several awards over the years, including “Best Community Float” in 2008 and 2009. Congratulations to all of those who continue to contribute to the success of these unique projects! To find out more about the programs and services offered by the OSCC, please visit www.oscc.ca
