Rabbie Burns Supper
The Oshawa Senior Citizens Centres (OSCC) recently celebrated the life of famous Scotsman and poet Robert "Rabbie" Burns, author of many Scots poems including "Auld Lang Syne. This memorable event was hosted by emcee John Cooper and featured many highlights including Ceilidh dancing, a piper and highland dancers and a comedy performance. Additionally, the evening featured many Burns Supper traditions including the address to the haggis, toasts, musical sing-a-longs and even the opportunity to learn a few Scottish dances.
