3rd Annual Scrap-A-Thon
The Glen Stewart clubhouse was full of photos, paper, scrapbooks and women and men staying awake for a good cause on Saturday, February 20th. The third annual Scrap-A-Thon in support of Sick Kids Foundation is a 16-hour long event which begins at 9 a.m. and features scrapbooking competitions and contests in order to raise money for the children’s charity. Volunteer students from local high schools and colleges were also on hand preparing the meals and snacks for the hard-at-work event participants. Thanks to the efforts of all involved, this year generated an amazing $3,455 to benefit the foundation. Congratulations to all of those who contributed and helped to make this year another great success!
